Are your alloy wheels damaged?

It’s easy to damage alloy wheels, and it only takes a few scratches and scuffs to make your wheels look tired and shabby. Luckily we are experts in alloy wheel refurbishment, and can have your wheels looking shiny in no time.

How can I get my alloy wheels refurbished?

For a professional alloy wheel refurb service, come to Alloy Care Centre.  We specialise in wheel refurbishment and strive to produce the best results every time.

How long does it take to refurbish alloy wheels?

Our process for alloy wheel refurbishment takes a minimum of 14 hours. In some cases it is possible to refurbish wheels and return them in the same day but this depends upon the amount of damage present, and the manufacturer.

You should expect to be without your car for 36 hours. This enables us to soak your wheels in the dipping tank, ensuring a perfect, bare metal surface from which to begin your refurbishment work.

If you require new tyres to go with your newly refurbished wheels, we can offer competitive prices for all sizes and most makes.

Travel to and from Alloy Care Centre

We understand that 36 hours is a long time to be without your vehicle, and that it can be inconvenient. We can provide a loan car to help you with this. Alternatively we can provide transport to and from your home or place of work if local, or drive you to Liphook train station.

If you have loose alloy wheels we are happy to collect these locally and then return them once refurbished.

Is my car secure while my wheels are refurbished?

While we work on refurbishing your alloy wheels, your vehicle will be stored in a secure garage.

How do you refurbish alloy wheels?

The first step for alloy wheel refurb is to remove them from the car, and then remove the tyres from the wheels. Our team of highly skilled experts then work on any corosion or damage on the wheels. The wheels are then primed with a high quality powder coating, and we can also paint the wheels in your choice of colour. Finally, the wheels are finished with a powder lacquer top coat which will create a hard and durable finish. We also provide a diamond cutting service which can add an additional level of shine to your wheels.

Take a look at our gallery for some examples of our work.

Can you add a powder coating to other things?

As a general rule, any metal object can be finished with a powder coating and lacquer; the only limitation is that it will fit into our stripping tank and oven. This means we can help with things like refurbishing motorcycle parts  – and we have refurbished pedal cars also. If you’re wondering whether we can powder coat a particular item for you, get in touch to see how we can help.
